Security forces killed 11 terrorists during three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said the military's media wing on Wednesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation, based on intelligence reports, was carried out in Tank District targeting the presence of Khwarij. "During the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij, neutralizing seven," the statement said.
The second operation took place in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan District, where two Khwarij were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces.
In a third encounter in Mamad Gat, Mohmand District, security forces engaged in an intense firefight, resulting in the elimination of two more Khwarij, the ISPR confirmed.
“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians,” the statement added.
“Sanitisation operation is being conducted to neutralize any other Kharji present in the area,” said the ISPR.
