A 31-gun salute was given in the federal capital, while 21-gun salutes were performed in provincial capitals to mark the occasion.
Special prayers were offered in mosques after Fajr prayers and Quran recitations, seeking prosperity, unity, and the elevation of martyrs' ranks.
Additionally, the national flag was hoisted on key government buildings across the country.
