The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has introduced advanced machines that function like ATMs, modernizing the degree verification process. These high-tech devices enable students to finish the entire procedure within a few minutes.
Punjab caretaker chief minister Mohsin Naqvi inducted the electronic machines.
“Exciting news from BISE Lahore. Launched a user-friendly online portal for all services, streamlining access to documents and all the services. Students can now also receive documents at their doorstep. This groundbreaking initiative will soon extend to the remaining 8 boards across Punjab,” Mohsin Naqvi said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Federal Board of Secondary Education (BISE) Islamabad has streamlined the lengthy degree verification process, making it faster and more convenient.
Federal BISE Chairman Qaiser Alam said a simplified yet innovative degree verification system is aimed at making the process more accessible for students, allowing them to apply online and receive verified documents promptly.
"Now the child can apply online, and his documents, like verification of documents, are verified online. The child reaches home. We call it the self-service machine," he said.
Students expressed their excitement about the new system. During interviews, they commended the effectiveness of the self-service machines, emphasizing the significant decrease in the time required to verify their degrees.
one of the students said that "Earlier, it used to take a lot of time to verify, now we are doing it in just fifteen minutes. It is very easy for us as students; now we can come here without parents.’
