Renowned Hollywood actor and martial arts star Chuck Norris has passed away at the age of 86, according to international media reports.
His daughter, Danilee Norris, said that although he was known as a strong fighter, he was a very loving person at heart. Fellow American actor Sylvester Stallone also paid tribute and described him as a true American in every sense. People from around the world paying tribute after hearing the news of his death.
Chuck Norris became famous during the 1970s and 1980s through his action movies. He gained major recognition after appearing with Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon, which featured their famous fight scene.
In the 1980s, his film Missing in Action, set during the Vietnam War, also became very popular and highlighted themes of American patriotism.
His family confirmed his death in a statement shared on Instagram. The statement said that the family was deeply saddened and described him as someone who lived his life with purpose and strong dedication to his loved ones.
