Ibrahim Ali Khan teams up with Dinesh Vijan: Who’s the female lead?

Ibrahim Ali Khan is already making headlines ahead of his Bollywood debut. Fans are eagerly anticipating the young Pataudi's on-screen presence, and before his debut, he has signed multiple projects. According to a recent report, Khan will star opposite South Indian actress Sreeleela in his next film with Dinesh Vijan. The film, tentatively titled “Diler”, will be a sports drama, although the makers have yet to make an official announcement.

“Diler” is one of the most significant projects for producer Dinesh Vijan and his Maddock Films, known for producing hits like “Stree 2”, “Bhediya”, and “Roohi”. A few months ago, Ibrahim was cast in the lead role, and now a new report states that Sreeleela will make her Hindi cinema debut with this sports drama.

Sreeleela has primarily worked in Telugu and Kannada films, including “Kiss” (2019), “By Two Love” (2022), “Bhagavanth Kesari” (2023), and “Guntur Kaaram” (2024), among others. Therefore, the fresh pairing of Khan and Sreeleela promises to be interesting to watch.

The same source reports that the on-screen pair has already completed their first shooting schedule in London after a delay due to riots in the UK. Earlier reports suggested that Sreeleela would make her Bollywood debut in David Dhawan's “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”, co-starring Varun Dhawan. However, a report denied this claim and stated that the producers had cast Pooja Hegde as the female lead.

The 29-year-old is the son of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh and the brother of Sara Ali Khan. This new pairing is a promising venture, although the makers have yet to make an official announcement.
