After being hurried to Mumbai's Criti Care Hospital right away, Dr. Agarwal provided treatment for the actor. Govinda received "8–10 stitches" following the procedure, but Dr. Agarwal told the media that he was "doing well." The doctor further shared that the injury was two inches below the knee and that Govinda is expected to be discharged "in a couple of days."
Reacting to the incident, actors Arshad Warsi and Arbaaz Khan expressed their concern during a trailer launch. “Unfortunate hai… this shouldn’t have happened. We all feel very bad,” said Arshad Warsi. Arbaaz Khan echoed his sentiment, adding, “What Arshad says is absolutely right, ke bahut hi unfortunate incident hai (it’s indeed a very unfortunate incident).”
