The Sindh government has introduced the Thar Desert Train Safari, a unique tourism initiative designed to showcase the cultural heritage and scenic beauty of the region.

The safari train will run from Karachi to Chhore, a town near Pakistan’s border with India. The journey will pass through Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas, offering passengers breathtaking views of Sindh’s landscape and culture.Activities & Stay
Upon arrival at Chhor (Parchi Jeveri), tourists will enjoy a sunset view, bonfire, live music, and a traditional dinner. Overnight stays will be available onboard the train, in campsites, or at local resorts.Ticket Price & Booking
According to the Sindh Tourism Development Corporation, ticket prices start at Rs30,000 per adult. Passengers will get to experience camping, cultural performances, and authentic Sindhi cuisine. Sindh’s Tourism Minister stated that the Thar Desert Train Safari would provide travelers with an opportunity to explore the rich culture and history of Sindh’s Thar region.
