The couple tied the knot in 2014 and have since worked closely together, with Hairston composing and producing some of Long's songs.

Despite initially doubting she would ever get married, Long found a deep connection with Hairston, who shared similar sentiments. Their bond grew stronger, leading to the formation of Supergiant Records, Long's label co-founded with Hairston. The label, which partnered with Def Jam Recordings in 2022, was an idea that began in 2019 and flourished through their dedication.

Long’s stage name, Muni, was inspired by an ancient sage and was suggested by Hairston, who thought it should be pronounced like "money." The surname "Long" was inspired by 2 Chainz’s song "I'm Different."

The couple made a stunning appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards, where Long won her first Grammy for best R&B performance. Hairston, always supportive, helped Long manage her voluminous gown during the event. Their love and partnership have been a significant part of Long’s journey, inspiring her viral hit “Hrs & Hrs” and frequently featuring in her TikTok videos.

Raysean Hairston and Muni Long continue to showcase their strong relationship, both personally and professionally, proving that their bond is indeed special and enduring.
