PSL 10: Naseem Shah excited to team up with Riley Meredith & Matthew Short

Naseem Shah, Islamabad United’s pace spearhead, has expressed his enthusiasm for playing alongside Australia’s Riley Meredith and Matthew Short in the upcoming 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Matthew Short, boasting a formidable T20 strike rate of 146.46, was selected by Islamabad United in the platinum category during the PSL 10 Player Draft. Meanwhile, right-arm pacer Riley Meredith, who has claimed 142 wickets in 113 T20 matches at an average of 24.26, was drafted in the supplementary category.

"I’m really excited to see two players in particular joining Islamabad United this season: Riley Meredith and Matt Short," Naseem Shah shared in a statement issued by the franchise.

He praised Meredith’s bowling, saying, "Riley’s pace and bounce are something special, and I think he’s going to light up the league. Pakistani fans are passionate about fast bowling, and we love express pace—Riley fits that perfectly."
