Pakistan secured their spot in the 2025 Cricket World Cup by defeating Thailand in the 12th match of the World Cup Qualifier on Thursday.

The national side then defeated Scotland by six wickets and crushed West Indies by 65 runs in their third game. With four consecutive victories, the Pakistan women’s team became the first to qualify for the Cricket World Cup 2025, which India will host later this year.

The six-team WC Qualifier features Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, and West Indies alongside hosts Pakistan in a single-league round-robin format, with all matches being played at the Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA ground in Lahore.

The tournament is scheduled to determine the two qualifiers for the 2025 Women’s World Cup, which will be held later this year in India.
