Pakistan’s Babar Azam slipped to 12th place in the latest ICC Test Rankings, with 712 points, while his teammate Mohammad Rizwan has climbed one spot to secure 7th place with 720 points, reinforcing his top-10 position among Test batters.

India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah stole the limelight by reclaiming the No. 1 spot in the Test bowling rankings.

Bumrah’s six-wicket haul in India’s seven-wicket win against Bangladesh in Kanpur propelled him to the top of the rankings for the second time in his career. He overtook his teammate Ravichandran Ashwin, who now holds second place, just one point behind Bumrah with 870 rating points.

Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan also made notable advances, with Mehidy moving up to 18th and Shakib climbing five spots to 28th among Test bowlers.

India's Yashasvi Jaiswal, who delivered impressive performances in the rain-affected Test against Bangladesh, moved up to a career-high third place in the batter rankings, trailing only Joe Root and Kane Williamson. Virat Kohli returned to the top 10, rising to 6th place after solid performances in the same series.

India’s dominant series sweep against Bangladesh not only boosted their players' rankings but also solidified their lead in the ICC World Test Championship standings, positioning them strongly for a third consecutive WTC final.

Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendis also saw a rise in the rankings, climbing five spots to 11th after a century against New Zealand. Teammates Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews also improved, moving up to 20th and 23rd respectively.

In the all-rounder rankings, Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan moved up to 5th, while India’s Ravindra Jadeja comfortably held the top spot. In ODI rankings, Australia’s Steve Smith advanced to 20th, while England’s Harry Brook and Ben Duckett achieved career-high rankings, with Brook rising 73 places to 50th and Duckett moving to 54th.

South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks rose to 11th among T20I batters, and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee reached a career-best 2nd place among T20I all-rounders after a series of strong performances.
