According to recent updates from an Indian media outlet, Khan will play a UK-based chef in the film, which is directed by Aarti Bagdi. The movie will be filmed on location in London and Dubai, following a continuous shooting schedule. The untitled project is described as a romantic comedy about two individuals who, despite their past struggles, come together by chance, support each other, and eventually fall in love.

Fawad Khan's last Bollywood appearance was in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).
