The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rain, wind, and thunderstorms for Karachi and parts of Sindh on Wednesday evening and night.
Weak monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are entering the eastern parts of Pakistan at lower tropospheric levels, while a westerly wave is affecting the upper regions.
Under these conditions, most districts in the province are expected to experience mainly hot and very humid weather on Wednesday evening and night, as well as on Thursday and Friday. However, isolated places such as Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Sanghar, Karachi, and Badin may see rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Wednesday evening and night.
For Karachi, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 33-35°C on Thursday and 36-38°C on Friday. In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature is likely to range from 39-41°C on both Thursday and Friday.
Over the past 24 hours, most districts in the province have experienced hot and humid weather, with rain, wind, and thundershowers occurring at isolated locations.

Jacobabad remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 45°C. Maximum temperature in Dadu and Mohenjo-Daro was recorded at 43°C.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 82 percent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 41°C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 73 percent.
