Islamabad: The Chief of the South African Air Force, Lieutenant General Wiseman Mbambo, during his visit to Air Headquarters, requested Pakistan’s cooperation to improve their training system.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Wiseman Mbambo visited Air Headquarters Islamabad where he met with Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
The ISPR said that during the meeting, both sides discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.
The Air Force spokesperson stated that Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu assured full support to help enhance the South African Air Force’s capabilities and offered to make Pakistan Air Force’s training facilities available for this purpose.
According to the ISPR, during the meeting, Lieutenant General Wiseman Mbambo appreciated the Pakistan Air Force’s operational readiness, combat capabilities, and credible deterrence. He said that the Pakistan Air Force has played an important role in maintaining regional stability.
