Islamabad: In observance of World Teachers’ Day 2025, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif issued statements highlighting the vital role educator’s play in advancing Pakistan’s development and prosperity.

President Zardari commended teachers across the country, portraying teaching as “more than a profession it is a noble mission.”He applauded the unwavering dedication of educators, particularly those serving in remote and underserved areas, describing them as a “valuable national asset” who keep the torch of knowledge burning bright.
Stressing the need for educational advancement, the President called for enhanced institutional backing, adoption of digital resources, and comprehensive teacher training programs.
“The Government of Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to reinforce educational institutions and leverage technology to empower educators,” he remarked. He also emphasized that honoring and valuing teachers is crucial for securing the nation’s future.
