Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met with Punjab Assembly members in Lahore, where he highlighted Pakistan’s improving economic indicators, particularly the reduction in the policy rate from 22% to 12%.
During discussions with MPAs from the Lahore Division, Sharif commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts and expressed optimism about the country's economic progress. He pointed to declining inflation as a positive development for the general public.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also participated in the meetings, which focused on public development projects and future political strategies. The MPAs acknowledged her contributions to implementing systematic reforms in the province.
