More rain with isolated heavy falls is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, and various parts of Sindh on Thursday night and the following two days, with occasional breaks, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Strong monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are currently moving into the upper and central parts of Pakistan and are likely to affect the southern regions from the evening or night of August 2nd.
Additionally, a westerly wave is expected to impact the northern parts of the country starting tomorrow.
Under these conditions, rain and gusty winds are anticipated in Mithi, Sanghar, Umer Kot, Tharparker, Mirpur Khas, Khairpur, Thatta, Badin, Chhor, Padidan, Sajawal, Karachi, Hyderabad, and Dadu on Thursday night.
On Friday and Saturday, more intermittent rain and gusty winds are expected in Mithi, Sanghar, Umer Kot, Tharparker, Mirpur Khas, Khairpur, Mityari, Nausheroferoze, Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, Chhor, Padidan, Sajawal, Karachi, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Dadu. During this period, a few heavy to very heavy falls are also likely.
In Karachi, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 33-35°C on Friday and 32-34°C on Saturday.
In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 34-36°C on Friday and 33-35°C on Saturday.
Over the last 24 hours, rain, wind, and thundershowers occurred in Karachi and lower Sindh, while hot and humid weather prevailed in other parts of the province.

Dadu remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44°C. Maximum temperature in Nawabshah was recorded at 43°C, and Mohenjo-Daro at 42°C.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 82 percent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 37°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 68 percent.
