JI defends PTI’s right to protest amidst government crackdown

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman reaffirmed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) right to protest, as the government intensified its crackdown on demonstrators in the twin cities.

Speaking at a press conference in Mansoorah, Naeem expressed deep concern over the current political environment, describing it as alarming, while sharply criticizing the government's suppression of dissent.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman emphasized that the government's actions against the protesters were unprecedented, noting that such severe measures had not been seen even during martial law.

Amid rising tensions, Jamaat-e-Islami stands in solidarity with PTI, calling for the protection of democratic rights and an end to oppressive government actions.
