DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has urged citizens to respond firmly to officers who solicit bribes by hitting them with a brick on their heads and invoking his name.
Speaking at Syed Aliyan village in Dera Ismail Khan, the KP CM emphasized that both bribe takers and givers will face consequences in the afterlife, urging people not to report bribery incidents to him.
CM Gandapur encouraged citizens to take immediate action against bribe solicitors by physically confronting them. He suggested hitting them with a brick on the head and informing their children of the action taken to prevent their parent from facing consequences.
Furthermore, the outspoken KP CM, affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), assumed office as the 19th chief minister of the province earlier this month, following a decisive mandate from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
In his inaugural address, the KP CM pledged to combat corruption vigorously, promising to establish a transparent and corruption-free governance system.
