Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom, where he visited Warminster and Larkhill Garrison.
As per the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visit was undertaken at the invitation of UK Army Chief General Roland Walker. During his tour, General Munir was briefed on the modernization plans of the British Army and the Deep Recce Strike Brigade. He also explored cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and unmanned systems, gaining insights into advancements in British military operations.
General Asim Munir arrived in the UK two days ago to participate in the 7th Regional Stability Conference at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
According to ISPR, he will deliver a keynote speech on ‘The Emerging Global Order and Pakistan’s Future’ during the conference.
The ISPR emphasized that the conference serves as a crucial forum for military dialogue between Pakistan and the UK, promoting bilateral cooperation. The event brings together top policymakers, military and civil leadership, as well as representatives from leading think tanks of both nations.
