PUBG mobile has announced a major collaboration with the popular anime series Naruto Shippuden, bringing one of the biggest crossover events in the past eight year game’s history.
The new version 4.5 update will launch on July 9 and will allow players to explore Naruto-themed content inside the game. The game interface developed under the supervision of the Naruto Production Committee (NPC), the update will include special gameplay features, redesigned environments, and locations inspired by the anime.
Players will be able to visit famous places such as the Hidden Leaf Village, Hokage Rock, and the Final Valley, which are key settings in Naruto story. The collaboration will also introduce ninja style abilities for players. In addition, PUBG mobile has confirmed a special boss battle against the Nine-Tails, one of the most iconic creatures from the Naruto series.
Players can also expect themed character outfits based on popular characters from the anime. PUBG mobile spokesperson said the partnership aims to combine popular cultural icons with the game competitive experience. The company added that the collaboration is designed to offer a new level of interactive entertainment for players worldwide.
