The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the full schedule for the 2025 edition of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, reaffirming its position as the most prestigious event in the country’s domestic first-class cricket circuit.
This year’s tournament will be staged across four major cities: Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Abbottabad. The action kicks off on October 6, bringing together top regional talent in a highly competitive environment.
A total of ten regional sides will participate, including Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, FATA, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi Blues, Lahore Whites, Multan, Peshawar, and defending champions Sialkot.
Each team will play nine matches, with the event comprising a total of 46 games, including the final. The top two teams at the conclusion of the league stage will advance to the championship match, which is scheduled to be played from November 29 to December 3.
With seasoned players and emerging stars ready to take the field, the tournament is expected to deliver high-caliber cricket, serving as a vital platform for future national team selections and the development of Pakistan’s domestic cricket infrastructure.
