ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday accepted District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand’s request seeking the transfer iddat case related to the marriage of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to another court.
There has been a big progress in the Iddat Nikah case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, in which the Islamabad High Court accepted the request of Judge Shahrukh Arjumand to transfer the case to another court.
The court transferred the case from District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand to Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.
It should be noted that Bushra Bibi's ex-husband Khawar Maneka objected to Judge Shahrukh Arjumand, after which the judge wrote a letter to the Chief Justice Islamabad High Court to transfer the case to another court.
Besides, on the occasion of coming to the court for the last hearing, PTI lawyers tortured Khawar Manrka, slapped him, and threw bottles at him in the court.

The court, on May 23, had reserved the verdict on the appeals which was to be announced that day.
