Bushra Bibi moves IHC for transfer to Adiala Jail

ISLAMABAD: Former first lady Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder, approached the High Court (IHC) for transfer to Adiala Jail.

Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court for transfer to Adiala Jail, in which it is said that all citizens are equal in the eyes of the law, so she wants to serve the sentence in Adiala Jail like any common prisoner. Political workers are in prisons with ordinary prisoners, and transfer to the Banigala sub-prison is against equal rights.

Bushra Bibi has further stated in her plea that after waiting in Adiala Jail from 10 am to 9 pm on January 31, she was moved to Sub Jail.

Bushra Bibi has requested in her petition that the notification of January 31 of the Chief Commissioner Office Islamabad and the notification of the administration declaring Banigala as a sub-jail should also be annulled.
