HAIFA – The city of Haifa witnessed intense devastation as Iranian hypersonic missiles struck multiple targets, turning buildings into rubble and sparking widespread fires.

Thick clouds of smoke rose over the city, while terrified residents fled to bunkers as air raid sirens blared once again across Israeli cities.

The powerful blasts shook buildings to their foundations, and reports suggest that Israel’s much-touted Iron Dome air defense system failed to intercept the barrage effectively.

According to independent sources, the past 30 to 36 hours have been particularly deadly for Israel, with at least 20 casualties and over 500 injuries reported, though official confirmation remains pending.

This escalation follows Israel's earlier strikes on Tehran, targeting Iran’s naval headquarters, government offices, and water infrastructure. In retaliation, Tehran launched ballistic missiles at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, with reports claiming that Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea was also targeted.

According to Iranian media, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired dozens of drones and missiles at Israel during the fourth phase of Operation Waad-e-Sadiq III.

The large-scale missile barrage was described as a decisive response to Israel’s earlier brutal attacks, with Iranian sources claiming hundreds of missiles were launched.

Following the strikes, air raid sirens sounded across Israel, particularly in the northern regions, where multiple explosions were reportedly heard, signaling the escalating intensity of the conflict.

Israeli media reports that thousands of citizens have taken refuge in shelters amid ongoing Iranian missile and drone attacks. In Haifa, multiple buildings have reportedly been reduced to rubble, with widespread panic and destruction across the city.

According to Arab media, Israel has completely closed its airspace and shut down all airports as a precautionary measure in response to the escalating assault. The situation remains volatile with fears of further escalation.

The conflict between Israel and Iran intensified significantly on Sunday, with Israel launching a series of targeted strikes on critical Iranian infrastructure.

According to reports, Israeli forces hit Iran’s naval headquarters, government buildings, water facilities, and main supply lines in Tehran. Following the attacks, thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from multiple locations across the Iranian capital, signaling the serious damage inflicted during the strikes.

The escalation marks a dangerous new phase in the ongoing confrontation between the two regional powers.

Tensions between Iran and Israel reached a critical peak as Tehran retaliated to Israeli strikes by launching ballistic missiles into Israeli territory. Sirens blared across northern and central Israel, prompting the military to instruct civilians to take immediate shelter.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that its air defense systems are actively engaged in intercepting advanced Iranian missiles, though the situation remains volatile. In response to the escalation, the Israeli government has extended the state of emergency until June 30.

According to the IDF, Israel has launched a massive counteroffensive, using 50 aircraft to target 170 Iranian military positions, including IRGC facilities and air defense systems in Tehran.

Arab media reported that explosions near the Iranian Parliament building in central Tehran caused fires, with additional blasts reported in Taleghani Street and Valiasr Square.

A drone strike reportedly targeted the Tehran Police Headquarters, leaving several individuals injured. The conflict continues to spiral, with both nations exchanging heavy fire and causing growing regional alarm.
