Recent reports indicate that the Juhu Police interrogated Govinda regarding an accidental self-shooting incident. The actor informed the police that the revolver was unlocked when he was cleaning it, which led to the misfire. He also noted that the firearm was 20 years old.
According to police sources, preliminary findings indicate no foul play; however, they still have doubts about Govinda's account. The authorities may summon him for additional questioning soon.
Additionally, police have questioned Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, and recorded her statement. The investigation is still ongoing.
The hospital expects to discharge the actor later this week. During his stay, several Bollywood stars, including Raveena Tandon, David Dhawan, and Shatrughan Sinha, have visited him.
