Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff land in legal trouble

A legal complaint has been filed against Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff for endorsing a popular elaichi (cardamom) brand that has sparked controversy.

According to Indian media reports, the complaint was lodged in Kota’s Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission by Inder Mohan Singh Hani, who alleges that the advertisement misleads consumers, particularly the youth. The actors' association with the pan masala brand and its tagline “Bolo Zubaan Kesari” has drawn legal scrutiny.

The complainant argues that the advertisement falsely claims the product contains saffron without any supporting proof. “As role models, these actors are misleading young people by endorsing a product that provides false information,” Hani stated. Additionally, he highlighted that the statutory warning on the packaging is written in extremely small text, making it nearly impossible to read.

Hani is demanding an immediate ban on the advertisement and a fine on both the actors and the company. Following the complaint, the commission has issued notices to Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and the manufacturer, summoning them to court.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar also featured in the campaign but later stepped away after facing backlash. So far, no official response has been issued by the actors or the brand.
