A second summons was issued against Allahbadia after he failed to respond to the first summons. In the meantime, other contestants of the show, including Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija, have already recorded their statements at Khar Police Station. The police have also taken the statements of the studio owner and three technical staff members.
Samay Raina is currently on a US tour and demanded more time from the authorities. His request has been denied by the Maharashtra Cyber Police, who asked the comedian to appear at the police station on February 17.
Allahbadia faced criticism from the audience after he made a controversial comment on Samay Raina's show. He acknowledged his mistake and apologized for his comments, and all the episodes of the show were deleted from YouTube.
It did not end there, as the police took strong action against the makers of the show and summoned over 40 people. The investigation is still in place, and the content creators are under constant scrutiny.
