The trend originally erupted when a fan-crafted reel seamlessly merged rhythmic hand motions with a motorcycle transition synced to Hooligan quickly exploding across social platforms. The concept gained further traction after being noticed by BTS members RM and V who engaged with the viral wave.

Elevating the phenomenon to another level Jungkook entered the trend with his own polished interpretation taking the rider’s seat and executing the sequence with precision, fluidity, and signature charisma.

Known for his sharp visual storytelling and instinctive editing flair, Jungkook transformed a fan-made concept into a globally amplified cultural moment.

The response from ARMY was immediate and electrifying. Social media platforms were flooded with euphoric reactions with fans describing the reel as “unreal,” “next-level,” and “internet-breaking.”

Many hailed Jungkook as the undisputed winner of the trend praising his effortless execution and magnetic screen presence. Others noted that his prior engagement with similar clips had already hinted at his participation.

Beyond the viral storm, Hooligan stands as the second track from BTS’s highly anticipated 2026 comeback album ARIRANG. The track is produced by El Guincho, Fakeguido, and Jasper Harris, with songwriting contributions from RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, Delacey, and Derrick Milano. It features full-member vocals with additional background harmonies from Jungkook and V, adding depth to its sonic texture.

The song also incorporates a sample from Michel Magne’s Yang Tse Kiang, blending experimental production with BTS’s evolving sound identity. As part of their comeback rollout, BTS has already released multiple visuals including SWIM and 2.0, building momentum toward their upcoming ARIRANG World Tour.

With Hooligan already surpassing 289.5 million views on YouTube, Jungkook’s explosive participation in the trend has amplified the track’s cultural footprint, turning it into a full-scale global phenomenon.

The moment stands as yet another testament to BTS’s unmatched ability to merge fan creativity with star-driven innovation creating viral history in real time.
