Despite the pain, she continued filming for two days to honor her commitments before the discomfort became unbearable. Just an hour before her birthday celebrations on October 10, she experienced intense pain and was rushed to the hospital.
The injury led to the compression of her L4, L5, and S1 nerves, causing her blood pressure to drop and resulting in sweating. She needed assistance to lie down and rest. A source revealed, “It turned out to be quite an eventful birthday, with muscle relaxants and injections administered to her. It’s been five days now, and her recovery is slow but steady.”
The source added, “Rakul is someone who constantly pushes her body. Instead of resting, she kept shooting, which led to this drastic outcome. This has been a lesson learned, and hopefully, she’ll recover soon.”
Doctors have prescribed muscle relaxant injections and strict bed rest as part of her recovery plan. Known for sharing her fitness journey on social media, Rakul is now focusing on her own recovery after this serious incident.
