Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Fardeen Khan to shoot celebration song for Housefull 5

Fans' excitement for “Housefull 5” continues to grow with each new update. The upcoming installment of the beloved film series stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and more. Reports now reveal that the entire cast will come together to film a special song celebrating 14 years of the iconic comedy franchise.

Midday recently reported that the makers of “Housefull 5” plan to film a grand song featuring the entire star cast, led by Akshay Kumar. According to a source cited by the portal, the song will celebrate the franchise's 14-year journey and is envisioned as a spectacular number.

The source said, “The track has been envisioned as a celebration of the franchise’s journey over the past 14 years. It will be larger-than-life, with expansive sets, elaborate costumes, and choreography that highlights the playful chemistry between the cast.”

The team will reportedly shoot the song at Chitrakoot Grounds in Andheri over three nights, from November 21 to 23, 2024. Remo D’Souza is choreographing the number, with over 100 background dancers joining the performance. Rehearsals for the grand sequence are set to begin today, November 19.

Another source told the portal that director Tarun Mansukhani aimed to capture the classic “Housefull” vibe in the song. The number will include hilarious sequences designed to leave the audience in fits of laughter.

In October, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s official Instagram handle shared the first picture of the entire “Housefull 5” cast. The photo featured Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangda Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Sonam Bajwa, Dino Morea, Johny Lever, Chunky Panday, Shreyas Talpade, Nikitin Dheer, Ranjeet, and Akashdeep Sabir.

Director Tarun Mansukhani stood at the center of the group as everyone beamed with huge smiles, posing together on a cruise during the shoot.
