Indus Motor Company, famous for making Toyota cars in Pakistan, has announced a big drop in the prices of its Yaris sedan models. The price reductions range from Rs73,000 to Rs133,000 for different versions.
For example, the 1.3 MT LO, 1.3 CVT LO, and 1.3 MT Hi models will now cost Rs4.326 million, Rs4.616 million, and Rs4.586 million, respectively, which is Rs73,000 cheaper for each model.
Likewise, the price of the Yaris CVT Hi has been cut by Rs133,000, making its new price Rs4.766 million. This decision was made due to the recent increase in sales tax on cars priced over Rs4 million, which is now at 25%. With these price changes, Yaris cars will now fall under the 18% sales tax bracket.
