The latest buzz surrounds Pak Suzuki's introduction of the 'Purani do, Nai Lo' ('Trade Old, Get New') Exchange Bonus program, catering to those looking to upgrade their old Suzuki cars to a fresh Wagon R.
The company's recent social media announcement captures the essence of the offer: "Upgrade to endless joy by exchanging your old car with the new Wagon R and enjoy an exchange bonus of Rs. 150,000."
This offer follows Suzuki's broader promotion covering its full lineup, including models like the Alto, Wagon R, and Swift.
The aim is to help customers turn their automotive dreams into reality, potentially saving up to Rs. 800,000. However, the exact value received for trading in an old car depends on its model and condition.
Despite these enticing offers, Pak Suzuki has faced challenges in terms of dwindling sales and profit margins. Recent data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) shows a 27% decrease in Pak Suzuki's annual sales compared to the previous year.
However, there's a glimmer of hope in the month-on-month sales figures, which indicate a 16% increase in March 2024 compared to February, with 4,101 vehicles sold.
Breaking down the sales numbers, Pak Suzuki Motors Company sold 3,373 units of the Alto, 320 units of the Suzuki Cultus, 136 units of the Suzuki Wagon R, 663 units of the Suzuki Swift, 183 units of the Suzuki Bolan, and 210 units of the Suzuki Ravi.
