The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday witnessed a positive trading session, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 804 points.
By the close of the trading day, the KSE-100 Index had added 574 points, closing at 114,804 points.
Throughout the session, shares of 463 companies were traded. Among these, the share prices of 269 companies increased, while 137 companies saw a decline in their share values.
In total, over 589.4 million shares were traded, with the total value of transactions exceeding Rs. 32.58 billion.
The market reached a high of 115,044 points during the day, while the lowest point recorded was 113,836 points.
This surge reflects strong investor confidence and an active trading day on the stock exchange.
