Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has made it clear that Iran will not hold any talks with any country as long as Israeli aggression continues. Speaking to Iranian state media, Araghchi stated that all diplomatic efforts are on hold until the attacks on Iran are completely halted.
He further said that after Iran’s strong response, he expects other countries to stay away from this escalating conflict. “We urge the global community to take immediate steps to stop Israeli aggression,” he said, adding that peace in the region will only be possible when such hostilities end.
Efforts to Resume International Talks:
The Prime Ministers of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom are scheduled to meet their Iranian counterpart on Friday in Geneva. The goal of this meeting is to restart diplomatic dialogue on Iran’s controversial nuclear program—talks that had previously stalled due to former U.S. policy decisions.White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that President Trump will decide within the next two weeks whether to pursue military action or diplomacy with Iran. She added that Trump remains open to negotiations in hopes of addressing American and Israeli concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Ballistic Missiles Rain Down on Israeli City:
Iran has once again launched a barrage of ballistic missiles targeting the southern Israeli city of Beersheba. The attack caused extensive property damage, burning several vehicles and triggering a major fire near the Microsoft Office building.According to Israeli media, the missile strike occurred early Friday morning. One missile hit a residential area, damaging several buildings, vehicles, and critical infrastructure. While no casualties have been reported, authorities have described the damage as "severe."
A spokesperson for Israel’s emergency service, Magen David Adom, confirmed that firefighters and rescue teams responded promptly. After several hours of effort, they were able to contain the blaze.
This latest strike comes just a day after another Iranian missile hit Beersheba’s well-known Soroka Medical Center, injuring more than 70 people.
In response, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) revealed that a technical failure in their interceptor defense system allowed the Iranian missiles to bypass security. A military spokesperson said a full review of the system’s performance is now underway.
These ongoing attacks continue to inflame tensions in the Middle East, drawing increasing global attention to the growing crisis.
