US President Donald Trump, in a statement on Truth Social, strongly criticized what he called “fake news media,” saying it has completely lost its credibility. He accused the media of falsely claiming that Iran is winning the war but in reality, Iran is losing big.
Trump claimed that Iran’s navy, air force, and defense systems have been destroyed, while its missile and drone capabilities have largely been eliminated. He also said that Iran’s leadership is no longer effectively present and that the country now only has the threat of naval mines left.
According to Trump, all 28 Iranian boats that were involved in laying sea mines have been sunk. He added that the United States is working to clear the Strait of Hormuz to ensure safe global shipping.
The US president said this effort is being carried out not only for America but also for countries like China, Japan, South Korea, France, and Germany, claiming that other nations lack the ability and determination to handle such a task.
Trump further stated that oil tankers from different countries are now heading toward the United States, while many empty ships are arriving to load high-quality oil and gas. He emphasized that the US has more oil reserves than two of the world’s largest countries combined and invited global partners, saying their needs would be fulfilled without delay.
