The demand was made during an Arab-Islamic ministerial meeting, where Arab nations held Israel fully responsible for the ongoing crimes of genocide against Palestinian civilians.
A joint statement was issued by the ministers of the Arab-Islamic Summit, describing the genocide taking place in the Gaza Strip as a major humanitarian tragedy.
The meeting called on the UN Security Council to take urgent measures to stop Israel’s illegal policies.
The statement also demanded the immediate and complete end to Israeli aggression on Gaza, as well as an end to ongoing violations against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Jerusalem.
The Arab states’ committee stressed the need to begin implementing the Arab-Islamic plan for the immediate reconstruction of Gaza and to ensure active participation in the Gaza Reconstruction Conference to be held in Cairo.
