The Meteorological Department has forecasted potential thunderstorms and rain with lightning for Karachi, expected either tonight or by tomorrow evening. Residents should prepare for wet weather conditions in the next 24 hours. Currently, the city's weather is warm and humid, with the minimum temperature recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius this morning.
Daytime temperatures may rise to between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius, and humidity levels are anticipated to remain high at around 75%, creating a sticky and uncomfortable atmosphere.
Yesterday, some areas of Karachi experienced pleasant weather due to rain showers, providing temporary relief from the heat and a cooler evening. However, the return of hot and humid conditions today suggests this respite may be short-lived.
With the possibility of thunderstorms, residents should stay updated with the latest weather news and take necessary precautions. Be prepared for sudden weather changes, especially if planning to be outdoors. Stay safe and ready for the potential wet weather ahead.
