Klein studied law at King's College London and later attended BPP Law School and Queen Mary University of London, earning his Master of Laws in 2012. He worked as a corporate lawyer with Debevoise & Plimpton from 2013 to 2019. In 2020, he became the CEO of GP Ice Race, an automotive winter festival in Europe.
Ashley and Klein met in May 2022 at the Grand Prix in Monaco. They were first photographed together in June 2022 in Arles, France, at a Jacquemus fashion show. In December 2022, Ashley subtly introduced Klein on Instagram with photos of them vacationing in the snowy mountains.
The couple made their first public appearance together at the 2023 Netflix BAFTA Awards afterparty in February 2023, which Ashley later shared on Instagram.
