Vivo has launched two new entry-level 5G smartphones in China—the Y50 and Y50m—targeting budget-conscious users with long battery life and essential 5G features. Both devices feature identical hardware, with the only difference being their memory configurations. The Y50 offers a 4GB RAM variant, which the Y50m lacks.

The Y50 and Y50m both feature a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with a 1600 x 720 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Each device measures 167.3 mm in height, 77 mm in width, and 8.2 mm in thickness, and weighs around 204 grams. Vivo has given both phones an IP64 rating, ensuring they are dust-tight and splash-resistant.
