Zaid remarked that social media has distorted the mindset of the youth, leading them to believe and imitate everything they encounter online. He expressed his disappointment, highlighting the detrimental effect this trend is having on relationships in Pakistan.
Taking his thoughts about divorce to the Instagram, Zaid Ali T wrote, “It breaks my heart to say this but…It almost seems that every other post I see nowadays is someone getting divorced. We live in an era in where social media has corrupted our minds. We live in an era where we post fake pictures and videos of our happy relationship on our stories just to fake it in front of the world and the people that don’t matter. We live in an era where we believe only our marriage has issues and everyone else’s marriage is perfect. We live in an era where we believe that leaving our partner is better than resolving our issues. We live in an era where cheating has become so common. We unfortunately live in an era where marriage has become a joke”.
