Syed Noor Discusses Why Jannat Mirza Failed as a Film Actress

  • Syed Noor is a  Pakistani Film Director.
  • He is known for producing hit films in the 90s, including "Choorian" and "Majajan."
  • Noor Shares why Jannat Mirza failed as a Film Actress.
Syed Noor, a renowned Pakistani film director famous for producing numerous hit films in the nineties, including the blockbuster "Choorian" and "Majajan," is known for introducing many stars who dominated the industry.

Noor is Happily married to filmstar Saima, he was previously married to Rukhsana Noor, who passed away some years ago.

In recent times, Syed Noor directed the film "Tere Baajray Di Rakhi," featuring Saima Noor and Jannat Mirza. However, the film performed poorly at the box office, and Jannat Mirza failed to establish herself as a successful film actress capable of drawing audiences to the cinemas.

In a recent interview, Syed Noor disclosed the reasons behind Jannat Mirza's inability to succeed as a film star.

Noor said, “Jannat is a very educated girl, she belongs to a very learned and well-off family. She didn’t have passion to be a film star, she knew that she was an accomplished Tiktoker, that’s why the failure of the film didn’t affect her. Also, I took her in the film because I have very good terms with her family and I like her. We didn’t make her wear revealing clothes or picturize bold scenes. We signed her because we wanted her followers to come and see the film but Humayun Saeed was right, people didn’t show up. It happened because usually people watch Tiktok for free. Jannat already achieved a lot of success in her life, her followers were getting content from her”.
