In a recent interview, Syed Noor disclosed the reasons behind Jannat Mirza's inability to succeed as a film star.
Noor said, “Jannat is a very educated girl, she belongs to a very learned and well-off family. She didn’t have passion to be a film star, she knew that she was an accomplished Tiktoker, that’s why the failure of the film didn’t affect her. Also, I took her in the film because I have very good terms with her family and I like her. We didn’t make her wear revealing clothes or picturize bold scenes. We signed her because we wanted her followers to come and see the film but Humayun Saeed was right, people didn’t show up. It happened because usually people watch Tiktok for free. Jannat already achieved a lot of success in her life, her followers were getting content from her”.
