Tragically, on January 11, 2024, Khalid Butt passed away in Lahore. Recently, a poignant voice note from the actor has surfaced on the social media application TikTok. In the voice note, Khalid Butt shares information about his health condition with his grandson.

Talking about it, Khalid Butt said, “Thank you Zahid sahib. I don’t know how to tell you. I can’t even go to the washroom. I can’t even speak. My liver will be transplanted, it has almost stopped functioning. Doctors have recommended a liver transplant, this is final. Tomorrow, I will go to the PKLI (with my reports), where they do liver & Kidney transplantation. My stomach has also become so weaker. I am dealing with multiple health issues. Please pray for my health. I was in Gilgit for the shooting of my drama, they sent me home for 8 days, now I am back in Gilgit”. He also sends love and prayers to his kids.”
