Ayesha revealed that “Jahanzeb is actually her first husband’s name and she always carried it to honor him. They were young when they fell in love and he passed away after 7 years of marriage. Her husband gave their kids their grandfather’s name so she kept his name as he used to say that he knows that his name will live. She got married again but her second husband said that he is okay with how she is in life.”
She also shared the emotional story of losing her ex-husband and how that propelled her to work. She began her career as a teacher, a role she believes is the best but is not adequately respected in Pakistan. She recounted how circumstances change when one is losing their partner, the connection with their in-laws, and how she resolved to stand up for her children.
Ayesha shared that she met her now-husband Haris in a very random manner. She was taking her kids for a vacation as they were feeling very low due to life’s circumstances, and he was helping her with some visa documents. Initially, he was somewhat rude to her, but they later became friends, and he also befriended her mother. Later, his mother asked him to marry her, and the rest, as they say, is history.
She also shared that “she had three kids from her first marriage and her second husband was okay with them as his children but she wanted to give him his kids and the couple had two children together. Ayesha said that she did not want to see him regret not having his biological children later in life.”
