During a security forces operation in North Waziristan, twelve terrorists were killed, while one soldier was martyred.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, on February 5-6, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in general area Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District on the reported presence of khwarij. During the conduct of the operation, our troops successfully targeted the khwarij location and resultantly 12 khwarij were sent to hell.
ISPR stated that Lance Naik Muhammad Ibrahim, a 34-year-old resident of District Hangu, fought with valour and embraced martyrdom during the operation.
“Security Forces of Pakistan are determined and remain committed to secure its borders and eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country”, the ISPR said.
