The security forces killed nine terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces launched their planned operation in Dosalli upon receiving the information of presence of terrorists in the area. Six terrorists were killed and two others were arrested in the operation.
In another intelligence-based operation in Isham, security forces engaged in a fierce firefight, resulting in the neutralization of three terrorists, while two others were wounded.
“Weapons and ammunition were seized from the killed terrorists, who had been actively involved in various terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and the targeted killing of innocent civilians,” the statement added.
“Sanitisation operation is being conducted to neutralize any other Kharji present in the area,” said the ISPR.
