Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan on Tuesday night, as well as on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), light to moderate monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are entering the upper and central regions of Pakistan, with a westerly wave impacting the northwestern areas.
These conditions will likely bring rain-wind/thunderstorms to the twin cities and isolated locations in Sindh, northeast and south Balochistan, Kashmir, the Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday night.
Further rain-wind/thunderstorms are anticipated on Wednesday and Thursday in the twin cities, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Punjab, lower Balochistan, and southeast Sindh.
The maximum temperature in Islamabad is expected to be between 38-40°C on Wednesday and 36-38°C on Thursday. In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature will likely range between 37-39°C on Wednesday and 36-38°C on Thursday.
Over the last 24 hours, rain/thundershowers have been reported in isolated areas of lower Sindh, northeast Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northern Balochistan.

Turbat was the hottest place in the country, with the maximum temperature reaching 46°C. Dalbandin and Jacobabad recorded a maximum temperature of 45°C, while Mohenjo-Daro, Sibbi, Nokkundi, and Khairpur saw temperatures of 44°C. Rohri, Larkana, and Dadu recorded temperatures of 43°C.
In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was 39°C, with evening relative humidity at 46 percent. In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was 38°C, with evening relative humidity at 44 percent.
