RAWALPINDI: Founder of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that beneficiaries of Form-47 are making verbal and personl attacks on judiciary and brave judges such as Justice Babar Sattar and those who wrote letters about meddling in judiciary affairs.
He said this while talking to media persons at Adiala Jail after hearing his cases, here on Friday.
He maintained that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faez Isa was an upright and brave person but he wanted to ask the CJP why their petitions of May 9 and February 8 were not being taken up as they have been in pending since long.
The PTI founder observed that whenever any question is asked to the beneficiaries of Form-47, they start attacking judges and media to pressurize them.
He further said that the president, prime minister and Punjab chief minister were on their offices because of Form-47, adding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor, who is also beneficiary of Form-47, is resorting personal attack on KP elected chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Imran Khan said that the incumbent government has no justification to cling to the power after the statement of former caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, who sent a message to Shehbaz Sharif when he threatened PML-N MNA from Rawalpindi Hanif Abbasi of exposing the reality of their elections, which were allegedly also based on Form-47.
He demanded that their cases be heard at the same pace as those of Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari and other had been taken up.
PTI Founder Imran Khan said that he had instructed his lawyers to file references against the judges for their misconduct, who passed verdicts against him in cases of Cypher and Iddat.
