Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has officially announced the resumption of its airspace for all domestic and international flights after reaching an agreement on a ceasefire with India.
According to the reports, the Pakistan Airports Authority has directed all airports across the country to be completely operational, allowing airlines to resume normal flight schedules.
Flight operations were recently delayed due to serious security concerns caused by rising military tensions in the region. Now, with things beginning to stabilize, normal flight schedules are expected to resume soon. Passengers are advised to contact their airlines for the latest updates on flight timings.
The return of regular flight activity should help reduce travel issues that were caused by earlier airspace closures.
Previously, the Pakistan Airports Authority had announced that the country’s airspace would stay closed until noon on May 11, 2025, due to growing tensions with India. Originally, the closure was only until May 10, but it was extended for safety reasons.
