Nawaz lambasts PTI for damaging economy, neglecting uplift projects in KP

MANSEHRA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has lambasted the PTI government for damaging the country's economy and neglecting development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in Mansehra on Monday.

Nawaz Sharif lamented the decline in Pakistan's condition since his departure from office and claimed that if he had not been ousted in 2017, the people of Mansehra would have seen the implementation of an airport and a metro project.

Expressing regret over the discontinuation of development work on the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway by the previous PTI government, Nawaz Sharif highlighted the adverse impact on the region's progress.

The PML-N supremo launched the party's election campaign from Hafizabad, Punjab, on January 18, in preparation for the general elections scheduled for February 8.

On the occasion, Chief Organizer of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz asserted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) should not serve as an experimental ground for politicians.

She criticized the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and accused them of failing to fulfill their promises of five million homes and a billion tree tsunami.

Maryam Nawaz encouraged the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to vote wisely, emphasizing the region's reputation for sensible decision-making.

Addressing the incarceration of PTI leaders, Maryam Nawaz stated that they are now facing the consequences of their own misdeeds.
